■ Tips for writing text
The following functions may also be available for writing text:
• To insert a space, press
.
• To insert a number while in letter mode, press and hold the desired number key.
• To move the cursor to the left, right, down, or up, press the corresponding scroll
key.
• To delete a character to the left of the cursor, press
Clear
. Press and hold
Clear
to delete the characters more quickly.
To delete all the characters at once when writing a message, press
Options
and
select
Clear text
.

• To insert a word when using the predictive text input, press

Insert word
. Write the word using the traditional text input, and press
Save
.
The word is also added to the dictionary.
• To insert a special character when using the traditional text input, press

. To insert a smiley when using traditional text input,

twice. When using predictive text input, press and hold
for
special characters, and press once again for smileys. Scroll to a character and
